… a last minute thrown together podcast with some of their musical “highlights”

Despite what you think about the team you’ve still got to salute the achievement by Chelsea F.C in reaching two cup finals.

The purpose of this post and of FootieAndMusic is to entertain you. So please maestro – play on…

  • Harry J Allstars – Liquidator
  • Peter Osgood – Chirpy Chirpy Cheap Cheap
  • Suggs & Chelsea FC – Blue Day
  • Henry Turtle – Ruudy’s Rocksteady Crew
  • Chelsea 1983 – Back On The Ball
  • Mr Martini – Why I Love Chelsea
  • Ted Taylor Orchestra – Blue Is The Colour
  • Chelsea fans - Frank Lampard chant
  • Chelsea 1994 – No One Can Stop Us Now
  • Chelsea fans - John Terry chant
  • Middlerow – Right Proper Charlie
  • Chumbawumba – Chelsea Back Four
  • Chelsea fans - "You've only got one song"
  • Barmy Army – Liquidator
  • Chelsea Brigade – El Comandante José Mourinho
  • Gift Grub – José’s Team Talk (Any Team Will Do)
  • Chelsea fans - Avram Grant chant
  • Laurel Aitken & The Shed Enders – Zigger Zagger

A bit all over the place really. The inclusion of Middlerow’s “Right Proper Charlie” is a crap commentary on the whole John Terry thing. There is a link with the song though – the track was on the Mean Machine soundtrack, which starred one time Chelsea player Vinnie Jones.
