Northern Ireland are not just there to make up the numbers you know. They qualified on merit. And I think it’s fair to say that they would… (Hello it is your brain here and I know what you are about to say. Don’t you dare say it) …like to “do a Leicester”… (Right that it, I’m out of here)
But seriously now, they are punching well above their weight and with the group they are in, Northern Ireland fancy themselves to get through to the Round of 16.
There’s a Belfast band called 3D Shark and they enlisted the help of the legendary N.I. football commentator Jackie Fullerton to appear on their song for the Euros.

This is not the first time that Jackie Fullerton (recently and very callously sacked by the BBC after 37 years) has appeared on another record. I did a quick search to remind myself and it says this was released in 2006 for the European Championships. The only thing is that 2006 was a World Cup year…. Maybe it was after the WC and for their qualifying campaign. Anyway, here’s yer man Fullerton once again:
