After their historic win today I’m going to repost this one from November last year.

In the original item I posted a couple of songs to coincide with the FA Cup 2nd in the hope that a non EPL football team would adopt it.

As I said back then:

…Obviously no club goes out and records a single for the FA Cup unless they get to the final, but there are lots of teams who never get that opportunity and I am asking why not.

If you support a lower league team you know that you’ll never get to see Wembley Way (unless you do well in the Johnson’s Paint Trophy).
You will never get the chance to buy their single only to find it again years later and be reminded of the joy/pain from that particular year.

So if you get through to the later the rounds why not release this as a single…
