He’s disbanding them because a couple of “mates” on the team, who also kipped on his couch, have scammed Williams out of £200,000. Don’t know which of them it was. Flavio Briatore has just appointed De Canio as the new boss of QPR. No not the fascist saluting Di Canio, who Barthez once called a cab for him, but the ex-Siena coach. (Specialist subject - saving teams from relegation.) QPR are currently in the bottom 3 of the old 2nd Division - with Crystal Palace and Norwich - things are looking grim for all of them.

There’s an Armored Wankball game being played at Wembley this Sunday. But it’s between the NY Jets and Miami Dolphins. Thought that Lerner or Glazer would have tried to get their spetic teams in there to play. Nice cash in/tie in for Cleveland and Tampa Bay.   Meanwhile going the other way - There is talk of an EPL match being played in the U.S.A, which in my opinion wouldn’t work like the NFL game because none of the Premier League clubs are a franchise and they can’t do their owners bidding. I know some of the teams now have septic chairmen and they can force the issue, but it would be very unpopular.
